Leicester City manager Claudio Ranieri has claimed that
the Foxes will be happy with a top ten finish next season in the premier
league.Ranieri’s men have enjoyed a remarkable season so far and are massive favourites to win the 2015/16 domestic title.
Amazingly, the Foxes narrowly avoided relegation last season, but have made a huge turnaround since the Italian replaced Nigel Pearson in July.
However, Ranieri admits that he does not expect Leicester City to compete for another title next season, even if the Foxes ends up as champions in this campaign.
“This year is exceptional and we should know that,” he is quoted as saying by AS.
“When I arrived and I saw the players I thought we could do something good. We have given voice to the little teams, to the clubs with fewer chances … and we have shown that it can be done.
“It’s a demonstration that you can win in different ways. On top of everything you have to believe and fight for it. And this team, all of them, go to together in this.
“[But] we are here because the favourites have slipped up a lot and this will not happen next season. Our reality should be to finish in the top-10.”
Leicester City are currently on top of the premier league log with 73points with four matches to the end of the season.
