IT’S raining in Alaska - not raining men or water - but monster fish.
The creatures have been identified as foot-long lampreys and have been causing a stir in Fairbanks, Alaska reported Discovery News.

The Alaska News-Miner reported that the toothed eel-like fish, which resemble something out of a horror movie, fell from the sky four times in one week including at a parking lot, according to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game.
“That’s unusual for a fish that’s seldom seen in the water up here,” the ADFG said.
So far there have only been a total of four fish spotted and the explanation is quite simple.

Seagulls are to blame. The birds can often be seen snacking on lampreys and they often fly away with their catch, dropping their meal en route.
Lamprey’s are rarely seen as they are difficult to catch and are not a fish that’s sold commercially. The recent sightings of them have given many residents their first and a frightening encounter.
