There are currently 18 states which are owing their workers with some of the arrears going up to nine months.

The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) is currently planning an indefinite strike over salaries being owed civil servants by some state governments.
There are currently 18 states which are owing their workers with some of the arrears going up to nine months.
These are the states which are owing their workers:
  1. Abia
  2. Akwa Ibom
  3. Bauchi
  4. Benue
  5. Cross River
  6. Ekiti
  7. Imo
  8. Jigawa
  9. Kano
  10. Katsina
  11. Kogi
  12. Ogun
  13. Ondo
  14. Osun
  15. Oyo
  16. Plateau
  17. Rivers
  18. Zamfara
